The area where La Plantation is located bears not only historic treasures such as the ruins of Balaclava, but also the world famous botanical gardens of Pamplemousses, the Sugar Museum and the lively town of Grand Bay, where shops, restaurants, bars and a host of activities invite to spend a leisurely time. The Northern Isles wait to be explored by catamaran or boat.

La Plantation can be found in the north-east corner of Mauritius, between Balaclava and Pointe aux Piments, an area well known for its rich history, lovely sunsets and warm, stable weather conditions.

Situated in a sheltered bay of the North West Region of Mauritius, bordered by a river in an area steeped in local history. The coral reef surrounding the lagoon provides a safe environment for water sports. The hotel is located at a 20 minutes drive from the main town, Port Louis, 20 minutes from Grand Bay and 60 minutes from the airport.
